Del Monte (France) is seeking a Sales Representative for its Sales Department, on a permanent contract, starting in November 2025 (or before).

Reporting to the Sales Director (Fresh) based in our Orly offices, you will assist with various tasks:

  • Selling fresh produces on the French market in accordance with the annual plan.
  • Managing sales forecasts and monitoring plan achievement on a daily basis.
  • Support the sales strategy and monitor regular reporting
  • Developing activity plans and promotional analysis.
  • Communicating effectively internally to maintain service levels.
  • Establish, maintain, and develop relationships with your contacts
  • Ensure all internal stakeholders are fully informed of customer activities
  • Understand the market, trends, and business outlook. Understand industry competition and the supply/customer base.
  • Daily client visits into the MIN (Rungis) and regular on-site monitoring of inventory (quantity/quality, arrivals, etc.)
  • Customer follow-up: management of returns / claims, and accounting support for payment tracking
  • Prospecting for new clients
  • Ensure all supply contracts/terms, payment terms, orders, and marketing materials are properly documented/used; have the appropriate authorization level; and comply with company policy.

Prerequisites:

  • Good standard of spoken and written French and English language skills

Proven experience

  • in a customer-facing sales/marketing environment.
  • in retail pricing, promotional pricing, negotiation, cost pricing, and contract extensions.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of product categories.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commercial acumen, ability to evaluate financial scenarios to drive profitability.
  • Computer proficiency and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Excellent presentation skills, ability to present business proposals in a structured manner.
